Vestral is committed to ensuring that everyone can access and enjoy our online world. We believe that adornment, beauty, and craft belong to all people, and that access to them should not depend on ability. We are working to make vestral.world usable by all our visitors, including those who rely on assistive technologies.

This is an ongoing commitment. We continue to improve the accessibility of our site so that it can be perceived, navigated, and used by as many people as possible, regardless of ability.

Our Approach

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the technical standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act and the EU harmonised standard EN 301 549. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological differences.

In practice, this means we work to ensure that our pages, product listings, cart, and checkout can be navigated by keyboard, are compatible with screen readers, use sufficient color contrast, provide text alternatives for images, and present clear, well-labelled forms.

Ongoing Effort

Accessibility is not a one-time task. As we add products, images, and content, we review them against our accessibility goals and correct issues as we find them. Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. Where this is the case, we are actively working to resolve it.
